HUMAN RIGHTS AND LEGALITY

Cases of kidnapping: The amount announced by the police may not be real

The Bank of Mozambique put it yesterday, concerned the recovery of 13 billion Meticais figures recently announced by the police as having been found in the accounts of those indicted for kidnapping. According to Waldemar de Sousa of Bank of Mozambique, all of the money that is held by the public and the banks is about twenty one thousand and six hundred million Meticais. Thus, if one excludes that which is held by the banks, which is about four billion Meticais, one gets about 17 billion Meticais held by the public. This means that if someone is in possession of 13 billion is a little strange. (http://www.jornalnoticias.co.mz/pls/notimz2/getxml/pt/contentx/1484508)
